Brandeis University’s Master of Science in Project and Program Management program combines rigorous theory and practice to help prepare project management professionals to stay competitive in their field. This program was developed by an experienced team of PMI (Project Management Institute) advisors and experienced project management professionals.
Brandeis University has specifically chosen not to seek the status of a Registered Education Provider (R.E.P.) with the PMI. While the program curriculum is consistent with PMI’s Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) and related standards, its courses are not limited by PMBOK boundaries and explore ranges of cost-effective techniques to apply project management practices in the workplace. The curriculum integrates understandings of business functions and challenges at various levels of corporate operation, and involves the interdisciplinary study of management, leadership and technology.
This practical and online program has a well-rounded and broader curriculum which prepares project management practitioners to be leaders in their field. Courses in the program qualify for professional development units (PDUs) for those practitioners studying towards their project management credentials, including the Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM). The Master of Science in Project and Program Management can provide you with powerful skills and knowledge that will guide you throughout your project management career, while your individual study towards your PMI certification.
